Whanau Day Out 2026

Whanau Day Out 2026

Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki proudly presents Whānau Day Out, generously supported by
the Hauraki District Council and the Thames-Coromandel District Council.
We’re excited to bring Whānau Day Out back for another vibrant day of connection, kōrero and community, and we would love for you to be part of it. This fun, interactive event brings local whānau together with the people behind health and community services across our Hauraki rohe. It’s an opportunity for whānau to learn about both new and existing supports available — all in one welcoming space.

Throughout the day, there will be music playing, as well as an MC hosting interactive
activities and prize giveaways. Please note that at times the venue may be noisey and lively, reflecting the celebratory whānau-focused atmosphere of the event.

We ask that all service providers come prepared with:
1 .Short, engaging, and informative kōrero (speels) that are easy for whānau to
understand
2. Clear, information-packed brochures or resources that outline who you are and
what you provide for the community
This helps ensure whānau can quickly connect with your service and take away
useful information to refer to later.
